| Opening ceremonies for the Quiksliver in Memory of Eddie Aikau big wave surfing contest at Waimea are Dec 4th at 3 pm. Among the 28 invitees is C4's Brian Keaulana. The holding period is from Dec. 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009. Waves need to be very large (20-40 feet), for the event to run.
