Dave Kalama and World Class Skiers Cross Lake Tahoe |

August 11th, Dave Kalama led a hard core crew of ski racers across the 21 miles length of Lake Tahoe, California to raise awareness of war veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Twenty seven athletes including downhiller Daren Rahlves, X Games Boardercross champ Nate Holland, snowboarder Jeremy Jones, Julian Carr, Arne Backstrom, all finished at King's Beach in 6 hours 23 minutes.
The event, organized by Rob Gaffney, raised money for the Bob Woodruff Family Foundation.
