I wanted to say thanks for taking time to
call me about my broken paddle situation. I'm glad you wanted to see if and what
my paddle techniques are and what type of SUP'ing I doing. I have been doing SUP
for about little under a year, surfing for over 25 years. I have a swimmers
background and swam for NC State. I have a strong upper body and long
arms , I'm 5-10'' -- 190 lbs. and a stocky stature.I usually take long
paddle strokes and in flat water paddles I get in to a steady paddle stroke
then try to do some paddle sprintsform a small burn. When I surf on a wave
I may rush the stroke to paddle past a breaking wave section. I know when
paddleing for a wave I di put alot of tourqueand stresson the paddle and I
do feel I have good technique. I have watched all your you tube vids and
have the ''SUP Surfing Hawaiian Style'' DVD How To Vol 1
. I feel I'm pretty well rounded in the sport of SUP.
I know
your paddles are great, strong and state of the art with no issues with
the product. I'm aware that during the manufacturing process their could be
flaws that could make it to the market place.. The law of %'ages. I'm
all over the C4 mission statement and love the fact that you and your
company has brought the ''Waterman'' out of me
Now I'm so hooked and spreading the stoke
to all. I give free lessons and demos to all who want to learn.. I started a
website here to SUP. I devote alot of free time to the Boys and Girls
Club here in the Island taking them out on Stand Up, surfing and kayaking and
even helping out with their school work. Its a priceless feeling I get in
return. Below is the link of an article in our newspaper about
me and SUP.
Thanks for your insite and
bringing the waterman out in me. You have created a great company and surrounded
youself with a bunch of great people and stand by your great products. Your
customer service is 2nd to none. For that alone I will continue use your company
and products. That say's alot about a company. That is becoming rare in
this world today.
Paddeling toward the future one stroke at a
time... Mahalo Glen Barroncini
